Suzuki Vitara price in 2021& Full Review

INTRO

This legend was born in 1988. The first thirty years of his life was dedicated to demonstrating that Suzuki had mastered the art of the "soft-roader". A vehicle that can get you to the shops and back, even if that means scaling a mountain trail that had succumbed to a landslide, crossing a flooded ford, and keeping your eggs safe on the return trip.

The Suzuki Vitara is like a lumberjack doing a plie. That's "pliƩ", so "l" before the "i". And before looking at the messenger, these are Suzuki's words, not mine.

This Vitara is Suzuki's flagship offering in the trendy small SUV segment and was usefully improved in this post-2018 revamped fourth-generation 'LY' series version. The engine range was completely updated as part of the facelift of this MK4 model, as well as further enhancing the style and safety. Also, a bit of substance was mixed into the styling here, especially if you go for one of the 'ALLGRIP' 4WD variants. And the resulting package continues to be a strong class competitor from 2018-2020.

The tester here, however, is the regular Vitara, which its manufacturer's naming convention suggests is front-wheel drive and naturally aspirated.

Styling

Visually, there is absolutely nothing that distinguishes a 1.4T Vitara from a regular 1.6-liter GLX variant, not even a badge on the tailgate. Careful observers will note the lack of the 1.6 GLX's panoramic sunroof (not available with the turbo engine), but other than that, the only way to tell them apart would be by looking under the hood.

From the surface, the Suzuki Vitara features a bolstered up look, that, because of its designers, makes it look larger than it actually is. That impression is helped by its robust styling, tapered roofline, and distinctive shape.

The alloy wheels are nothing special, but they are doing complete the package, giving the SUV a true sense of confidence, which we expect is its appeal.

The Vitara's styling may be regarded as dull and conservative by some, but customers can opt for a range of vibrant exterior colors; we're big fans of this subtle grey-blue, called Ice Greyish Blue. There's also the option of a contrasting roof. 17-inch alloy wheels look good too

Exterior

There has always been something about the style and design of a Suzuki that was unique and distinctive. I have never looked at any Suzuki and mistaken it for something else Like Suzuki Grand Vitara is also one of the best Vehicle.

Fortunately, the 2020 Vitara Turbo has stuck to this topic extremely well I think. From almost every angle, it's an attractive midsize SUV. It's not great, but it's certainly not vanilla like some others in this category.

Interior

Suzuki knows its customers well and easily gives them what they need. Generally, Vitara drivers are active, adventurous, and have an eye for value. The new Vitara is as tough on the inside as it is on the outside. The board is practical, bright, and easy to use. Everything is organized in a familiar way, and in its latest version, the Vitara adds many of the comforts expected in more expensive models. The 'SZ-T' model has satellite navigation, reversing camera, Bluetooth, cruise control, and smartphone link for the touch screen.

Ride and handling On the Road

Thanks to its relatively lightweight, this Vitara is one of the most attractive small SUVs you could consider, an attribute that is complemented by the smaller turbo Boosterjet gasoline engines installed across the range with this post-2018 version. This thing stands taller than most sedans but still rides relatively low, and its wheels wear some thin rubber, so NVH levels during this cabin are just okay. But this physique is additionally what makes the Vitara such a nimble and agile little crossover.

Engine

The Vitara range offers two engines.

Powering the two-wheel-drive entry model is a 1.6-liter, 86kW four-cylinder that runs on 91 RON fuel. It is bolted to a five-speed manual gearbox or optional six-speed automatic drive

In history, Sports Utility Cars and any other Vehicles have been heavy and often Diesel. They have dropped their diesel engine in regard to its new powerful  1.4 Turbo Petrol. This may not sound like a lot in a vehicle so big, but Suzuki also focuses on ultra-lightweight chassis – in fact, the new Vitara weighs much the same as a Ford Fiesta.

Safety

All Suzuki Vitara models are equipped with seven airbags and antilock brakes, in addition to other electronic safety aids including stability control, brake assist, and electronic brake-force distribution. Parking is very easier with a reversing camera and on an automatic transmission models, hill hold control.

While all models have a reversing camera, only Turbo or AllGrip variants have front and rear parking sensors to avoid the hassle of parking in a tight spot

Moving to the Vitara Turbo adds much additional safety features, such as autonomous emergency braking, which warns of a potential collision and automatically brakes the car if there is no driver reaction, plus blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic, and fabric alerts. , lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control, the latest that make long-distance driving easier.

Pricing

Vitara 2WD five-speed manual – $23,990

Vitara 2WD six-speed automatic – $25,990

Vitara Turbo 2WD six-speed automatic – $30,990

Vitara AllGrip AWD six-speed automatic – $35,990

Verdict

The Suzuki Vitara is a well-designed compact SUV, decently equipped and satisfying to drive, thanks to that 1.4-liter turbocharged engine and six-speed automatic transmission. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment would be in its interior quality.
